Understory Premieres on Feb 25th!
The Tongass is the largest national forest in the United States, but because it’s so remote, sparsely populated, and challenging to travel to—there are plenty of people in the US who’ve never even heard of it.
Understory follows the story of three women who sail to some of the wildest corners of this coastal temperate rainforest and expose the ugly face of industrial logging.
We made Understory because we think that more people should know that the Tongass exists. We believe that if you know the real story of what’s happening to the Tongass, you’ll be personally inspired to take a stand for the ancient trees that are critical for the ecology of this special place AND the global climate.
Our team has been working on this film for almost two years, and we’re so excited that in just a few days, we can share Understory with you.
